Exile is known for its chart-topping hits spanning soft pop rock to their highly successful crossover into country music, cementing their status as one of the most versatile and enduring groups in the American music landscape. Formed initially as a high school rock band called The Exiles, the group played local venues before achieving success as a pop rock group with their 1978 hit “Kiss You All Over,” which spent four weeks at No. 1 on Billboard’s pop chart and was named BMI’s “Song of the Year.”
Their transition to country music in the 1980s marked a new chapter in their career, leading to ten No. 1 country hits including “Give Me One More Chance,” “Crazy for Your Love” and “She’s a Miracle.”
The band received 11 nominations for the Country Music Association and Academy of Country Music Awards, with the CMA nomination for Vocal Group of the Year for four consecutive years. Exile’s original song “The Closer You Get” was covered by country powerhouse group Alabama, peaking at No. 1 on the U.S. Hot Country Songs Billboard chart.
Exile’s current lineup features original members J.P. Pennington and Marlon Hargis, Sonny LeMaire, Steve Goetzman and Les Taylor, who will deliver an unforgettable performance spanning their extensive catalog.
